Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Chicago, IL

- Outside Sales Experience is a MUST
- A little more of an established book of business
- Driver’s License (Required)
- Willingness to travel (50%)

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year (The position’s salary is a draw + commission, $4k a month draw)

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM until 4 or 5 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow customer base with a large geographic territory
- Create & execute specific strategic plans to profitably grow the business
- Attain revenue targets and KPIs as set by the Sales Director
- Assist and guide customers in product selection and influence sales towards
- strategic brands
- Continuous follow-up on assigned quotes
- Quote to close ratio of 20% or greater
- Evaluate, monitor, and resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner
- Participate in construction site meetings as required to assist in issue
- resolution
- Collect market intelligence and competitor activity information and share
- through company database
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts on sales projections
- Generate accurate and timely field reports
- Participate in industry and promotional events
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Good Communication & writing skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to read and understand equipment operation manuals, Safety Data
- Sheets and other literature as required
- Good mathematical skills
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
